This book published in French provides an overview of research on cross-cultural management. The first part shows that the field is dominated by a quantitative view of cultural differences. This literature review leads to the implicit model of performance of cross-cultural teams underlying most research. The second part presents recent interpretative qualitative contributions. It draws upon field studies in various countries and industries, ranging from industrial cleaning to telecommunications and including cooperation for development. A coaching method for multicultural teams is presented and illustrated with a detailed Franco-Madagascar case.
