International project teams are faced with complex technical and organizational situations. The search for solutions leads to ordinary innovations. This chapter examine through a case study how power games and cultural representations are articulated in the processes of innovation. The first section presents a literature review on the effects of cultural diversity on innovation in international teams. The second one presents a case study of a technical and organizational innovation in a project aimed to build a tramway line in Algeria involving international teams. The case analysis shows how cultural dimensions and power games combine to give meaning to the commitment of the different actors in the dynamics of innovation.
