The research conducted by the team National Cultures and Organizations (Gestion et Société) has highlighted the cultural contexts of the interpretation of management practices in a number of countries. The work covered both the major Western countries and non-Western areas that do not have a long tradition of the management of industrial companies, but which, as they are part of a movement of the globalisation of the economy, are faced with the encounter between traditional social regulations and the importation of dominant management models.
